IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) believes in the overall development of its students to make them future ready for facing the challenges of the competitive world. Therefore, to develop the skills to comply in the corporates Management Department of the Institute has organized a guest lecture on Scope and Opportunity in International Business for the students of BBA- II and III Year in the auditorium on 09 April'2018. The Speaker for the lecture was Mr. Mohit Kumar, who is presently working with Renoir Consultant having rich experience in trading and visited around more than 80 countries for the purpose. Dr. Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA felicitate Mr. Mohit Kumar for Guest Lecture. Dr. Kumar Saurav, faculty Management Department, introduced the speaker and the topic of the lecture to the students.
In his lecture, Mr. Mohit discussed the traits of international trade. He also explained about the real insight of International Business through its scope and an ample number of opportunities for building career in International Business. He acknowledges the students few basic and important terms used in international trading are: Knowledge of export, import foreign exchange, shipping freight, shipping lines, internal and external policies, market size, competitors, market sentiments, support function, incoterms, classifications, custom policies, pre-post shipment document, payment terms. He introduced the participants through various exclusive examples as well as challenges in the world trading economy. He shared his own experiences of how one can grow and learn more choosing international business as the career option.
Overall it was an interactive session which ends up with lot many queries and suggestions for one to decide right path towards the attainment of future goals.
