An interactive session was organized by Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) for the students of BBA on 25th September 2017. The session was about sales and marketing strategies ‘Cadbury’. The lecture was delivered by Mr.Aman Maheshwari, Sales Executive at Cadbury and one of the eminent alumni of IMS, Ghaziabad (UC Campus) BBA Batch (2012-15).
Cadbury is one of the world’s second-largest confectionery brand after Wrigley’s and is internationally headquartered in West London and operates in more than 50 countries worldwide. The company was formed owned by ‘Modelez International’ since 2010.
The session was aimed at acknowledging the audience about the various aspects of sales and strategies executed by the company in order to boost up the sales by satisfying the target audience. The product mix, brand extension and SWOT Analysis of the Cadbury was well explained by the guest in order to acknowledge the audience with the help of various live examples.
He also invites the audience for trying some of their new products such as ‘Cadbury Dairy Milk Lickable’ and ‘Cadbury Silk Curvy’ recently introduced by the company.
Soon, the session turns to the two-way discussion. Multiple questions and answers were shared between the speaker and the audience. The lecture was full of enlightenment and was enjoyed a lot by all the students.
