Report on Peer Enrichment session on Tips and tricks for budding researchers

Summary of the session:

Research cell of IMS Ghaziabad- University Courses Campus organized a peer enrichment session on Tips and tricks for budding researchers. The talk was addressed by Dr. Sahil Gupta who gave a clear understanding of how one can showcase their research findings in different platforms like SCOPUS, GOOGLE SCHOLAR, RESAERCH GATE, PUBLONS etc.

He also indicated the importance of H index and citations and how these can add the credibility to one?s profile as a researcher. The event encouraged our facilitators and budding researchers to creatively communicate their research and its impact on a broad audience. A detailed discussion was held on how to review and increase the citation score by developing a collaborative approach among the faculty team. The resource person also emphasized on the importance of developing the H index of the institute by focusing on the official email id each faculty. The process of learning from each rejection of paper was also analysed as that can help in developing the paper better. All the faculty members interacted actively during the session that enhanced the knowledge and learning for all.
