Institute of Management Studies, Dasna organized a splendid Orientation Programme to formally welcome first year students of MASTERS IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS Batch 2018-20 on 14 July, 2018. The Orientation Programme was designed to support new students as they begin their journey at IMSUC Campus. It was to make "freshers" feel like an integral part of the IMS family and gets a feel of things to expect during their time at campus. Above all it was meant to make the students realize their potential, time to unlock the same.

In the inaugural session, Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director IMSUC Campus, Mr. Ramesh Aggarwal Chairman of Aggarwal and Packers group and Mr. Prashant Verma Vice President- HR & Strategy Disney Bays gave their gracious presence.
The programme began with National Anthem followed by petal offering to Goddess of learning Maa Saraswati. The new students were acquainted to the background, vision, growth, culture and philosophy of IMSUC Campus by Dr. Sapna Rakesh. Mr. Ramesh Aggarwal ji in his thought provoking speech emphasized the role of Identity. He was shattered by the thought that dreams are copied and pasted on individual and deprives them of their own footprints. He stressed on creating identity from very beginning in the most dignified manner. His success mantra was "To progress Vertically and not Horizontally" His experience speaks to students 10% how you make it and 90% how you create it.

Mr. Prashat Verma, THE GUEST OF HONOUR gave an informative address to the august gathering and briefed that Competency is the order of the day. It is actually the sum of KNOWLEDGE + SKILL + PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES. His magical one-line sentence which made the students to stand on their feet "IMS will train for your skills and we will hire for your Talent". The new batch was asked to listen to industry experts without fail as it is they will bridge the gap between theory and practice. Students should go for online personality test where they will be able to see a glimpse of their own.
