IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized Industry visit to Yakult Danon India Pvt. Ltd Sonipat for BBA (2017-20) Batch on August 14, 2018.The objective of this visit is to provide the practical exposure to students about the industry and to enhance the academia-industry interface. The bus along with approximately 110 students and faculty members departed from campus at 10:30 am and reached at 12:15 am where they are welcome by Industry staff of Yakult. The visit of plant initiated by the brief presentation about the company, its history and global presence. During the presentation students were facilitated by Yakult drinks and chocolates. After the presentation students were taken to the plant where they saw the entire manufacturing unit starting from seed room to culture mixing followed by quality control to molding unit and finally to packaging. Students were very excited and also interacted with Yakult staff by asking various questions. After the plant visit the students were served with food packets and drinks and bus departed from Sonipat at 2:30pm and reached Campus at 3:45pm. This kind of industry visits is a good opportunity to students to gain full awareness about industrial practices.
