Career Development Centre organized the workshop on 'Team Management and Emotional Intelligence' on 10 September, 2018.The objective of the workshop was to discern the significance of team management and emotional intelligence. It was conducted by Dr. Deepali Monga , International Trainer and Ms. Shefali Monga. The management games accentuated on the strategies, to overcome the challenges of working in a team, by managing emotions of oneself and others around. The session focused on developing techniques to manage negative emotions and transforming them into positive ones. Dr. Deepali touched on pertinent pillars of emotional intelligence - self awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. Students learnt the importance of taking charge of their emotions and be a true, effective and empathetic leader. She also shared NLP techniques to train one's mind in different situations, while raising significant techniques on self introspection.

CDC Team extended a note of gratitude to Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director, IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus, for her insightful initiatives. Dr. Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA and Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee, Coordinator ( Final Year, BBA) motivated the students to come out of their comfort zones. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Priyanka Sadhna, Chairperson CDC, wherein she encouraged the students to accelerate their growth .Dr. Deepa Goel and Ms. Raunak Bhardwaj executed the programmed effectively and guided the students in broadening the lens. Faculty members- Ms. Aastha Sawhney and Mr. Santosh Shah, EWL students' team of Shubham, Nitin, Ankur and Vishal and IT & administration team- Mr. C.S. Verma, Mr. Naresh Choudhary and Mr. Ajay managed the programme well with unwavering attention.
