IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized the IMS Student Colloquium on the 5th of October with an objective to provide a platform for the students to express their views and discuss the latest developments in the field of Biosciences.
The event began with the students displaying Science Models. Two types of Science Models were presented at the event.

The Non-Working Models featured ideas on applications of Biotechnology in the Industry.
The Working Models highlighted novel ideas on eco- friendly power generation and hydroponics etc.

This was followed by oral presentations on the current science topics including Nanobots-The Artificial Blood, Disease Detection using Biorobots, Artificial Skin, Production of Biodiesel from Waste and The Role of Stem Cells in Health Science and Medicine. The rigorous scientific discussions held in the Colloquium raised awareness about new advances in Biology.
More than 60 students actively participated in the event, making it an opportunity to give a broader focus of science beyond the university curriculum and boosting the students' confidence to express newer ideas orally or in the form of creative scientific models. At the end of the day, awards were given in each category of the event.
