"Live for the moments you can't put into words"

IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized an Alumni Meet-Smriti 2018 on 28th December' 2018 for the students of BBA, BCA, BJMC, Bio-Sciences (Biotechnology and Microbiology), MSc in Biotechnology and Masters in International Business. The Alumni meet is an event where present meet past and strengthen the bond for everlasting memories to be cherished with a philosophy to Connect, Collaborate and Create, the alumni association strives to evolve a better ecosystem contributing to the development of institute, corporate and society at large. The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Sapna Rakesh (Director IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus) with the objective to connect the alumni to the institution, develop synergistic plans to support, achieve its vision, and to enable the institute to add value to all its stakeholders. Most of the Alumni were visiting their Alma mater after a long time and naturally, we're thrilled to be back on the campus again.

The crowd geared up by participating in various fun games organ students followed by a band performance of Mr. Ritwik Das along with his team members (Students of IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus), DJ and a musical performance by Mr. Vineet Rastogi. The occasion was graced by almost more than 500+ Alumni from various courses. Some of the Alumni from senior batches were also felicitated by the Director where they shared their journey and life experiences and how IMS helped them in shaping their future. The Alumni had gala dinner with their faculty members, batchmates and current students of the institute, and was seen reviving their memories and sharing their experiences with their batch mates, seniors, and juniors. They also discussed how and in what ways they can guide the current students as a part of alumni mentoring program that provides an insight into the world of work and helps them to transform into working graduate leading to their professional growth. The Alumni who marked their presence with the highest number of participants in batch from all programs were awarded Certificate of Appreciation by respective Chairperson of the courses.

The meet was concluded by a vote of thanks by Dr. Shilpi Sarna (Chairperson Alumni Association) on a promising note of strengthening this bond and helping the Institute to achieve excellence in all ways.
