Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the most exciting trends and innovation in the recent history of technological advancement covering wide range of applications like healthcare, entertainment, appliances control & utility services, security, defense, traffic management, transportation, home & industrial automation, remote monitoring, smart cities etc. IoT (Internet of Things) is a new revolution of the Internet. Keeping in view the importance of the corporate world, IMS Ghaziabad (University Course Campus) organized a workshop on "IoT" for the students of BCA on 15th February 2019. The speaker of the workshop was Mr. Stephen Simon (MCN Solutions, Noida).

The aim of this workshop is to impart knowledge about the real time applications of IoT among students by an interactive training session. Trainer provides the practical exposure of IOT and they also gave a demonstration on Internet of Things. He focused on both theoretical as well as hands-on experience in IoT Technology to interface the things for different applications using toolkits with devices such as LEDs, sensors etc. At the end of this session students would be able to execute the IoT applications. It was very informative and a great learning experience for students. The session proved to be known as students came out with various queries, answered by the honorable speaker which was a helping hand in understanding the changing trends of technology.
