Summary of the Event:
The Hanuman Jayanti Puja, organized at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) was held on April 12, 2025. The college campus came alive at dawn with the serene and spiritual observance of Hanuman Jayanti, commemorating the birth of Lord Hanuman—revered as the embodiment of strength, courage, and unwavering devotion in Hindu mythology.
In the tranquil setting of the campus atrium, faculty, staff, and hostel students gathered with devotion in their hearts. The soft glow of lit diyas (oil lamps), held by the attendees, cast a warm light upon the idol of Lord Hanuman, symbolizing illumination, purity, and divine presence. As part of the puja, traditional offerings such as fruits, sweets, and flowers were placed with reverence before the statue. Each prayer reflected a personal connection to Lord Hanuman, with many seeking his blessings for strength, courage, protection, and wisdom.
The ceremony culminated with the Aarti, a collective expression of devotion, followed by the distribution of Boondi as prasad. This sweet offering, beloved in Hanuman worship, symbolized divine blessings and a shared sense of community and grace among all present. The joint efforts created a truly enriching and memorable experience for the entire college community.
More than just a religious event, the Hanuman Jayanti Puja served as a powerful reminder of the timeless virtues Lord Hanuman stands for—devotion, humility, and courage. It inspired everyone to carry those values forward in their personal and academic journeys.
