Pulse - An Inter Institutional Fest


PULSE 2018

College Fest is the event that students eagerly wait for. IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) announced PULSE 2018 on 15th and 16th March 2018 with extreme excitement and enthusiasm. Apart from the fun, frolic, and platform that a cultural festival at any institute offers students to exhibit their talent, the fest is also an acid test of some students’ managerial skills.

The day started with the National Anthem followed by the inaugural ceremony in the presence of honorable guests, management team, director, dean, faculty, staff members, students and media representatives.

It was a great privilege to have Mr.VikramdevMahapatra as a Chief Guest. Mr.Sumit Mishra and Mr.Abhinav Saran as a Guest of Honour. It was an experience in itself to learn from their motivational speech.

IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus witnessed participation from more than 100 colleges and universities including Delhi University, Amity University AKTU, and Symbiosis to name a few.

The plethora of events planned for Day1 included:

The Investiture ceremony wherein batches were conferred the clubs representatives of 19 students clubs of IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus)with the objective of accentuating one’s ability to transcend into paragons of efficiency by developing the right skill set, knowledge, and attitude.

The performance by the special kids from Shri Advait Parivar Foundation was really a true essence of life that taught us TO LIVE EVERY MOMENT.

Solo singing– Where the participants from eminent institutes scattered the rhythm of their voice into the breeze all around.

IT Gaming– Counter strike really bestowed the participants to showcase their skills in the world of gaming.

Kalakriti– Rangoli making competition that brought the creative thoughts the participants to live life with colors.

Imagery– Capture the event where participants captured the beautiful memories seen through a lens.

NukadNatak– a stage show where every team has given its best to deliver a social message with the art of Natak (theatre)

Razmataz-Group Dance was the most thundering event of the day which was full of spark and energy.

Prashontry-Quiz Competition in which teams was a test of their knowledge, composure, and skill.

Extempore– The event which could reveal the views of the participants and to test their prowess to think.

After all these, the most awaited moment of the day was the DJ night with one of the famous personality DJ TATVA K which was really enjoyed by thousands of hundreds of people gathered in IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus).

 And for sure that was not the end, the second day was much more fun and full of fire inside the crowd at IMS. Fests are great because you get to just walk around the corner and see a new band that you’ve heard but not had the chance to check out.

The list of event planned for Day-2 included:

Taal Se Taal Mila– Antakshari Competition was a fun and music filled contest where every team in the group tried their best to match their sure and taal with each other to win the competition.

Natrajan –Solo Dance Competition, the thrilling dance steps, friction and effort of each participant was worth appreciating and very much enjoyed by the audience.

Mask-D-face– Face Painting Competition, could witness the various fact, figure and imagination and colors were brushed onto the different faces of the participants proving their beautiful art of thinking.

Buzz World– Business Plan, an opportunity for the future entrepreneurs to keep forward their ideas of business. All the ideas presented were really unique, innovation and were appreciated by the judges and some were even selected for future rounds of presentations.

Digital Canvas– Digital Poster Making Competition where participants were asked to create a digital poster for the product of their own choice. The judgment was on the basis of creativity, caption, and the punch line of the poster. And did we see awesome ideas on paper!

Fashionista– Fashion Show, the most awaited event of the fest which added the spark to the evening. The participants were meant to walk on the ramp representing various characters based on the themes like Bollywood, Jungle Safari, Elements of nature. Mesmerising is what it was! No one could take their eyes off the ramp!

The day ended with the valedictory ceremony to announce the winners of the event from both days in the presence of the management team, director, dean, chairperson, and all faculty members of IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus).

The event again left us with the beautiful memories to add to the diaries of IMS and heartfelt thanks to all the dignitaries for their blessings, eminent institutes for their wonderful participation and the sponsors of the event for their valuable presence.

We certainly believe that the memories of our past cannot limit the potential of our future. The will to win, the desire to succeed and the urge to reach are the keys that unlock the door to personal excellence.

We are already looking forward to the PULSE 2019!! Yeehaw!!
