International Conference on "Business Transformation through Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Digitalization"

IMS Ghaziabad University courses campus took this initiative to organise International Conference on "Business Transformation through Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Digitalization" on November 9,2019. The objective of this conference is to bring together leading academic scientists, research scholars, students to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Management. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform for policy makers, top managers, researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Management. More than 200 abstracts,150 research papers registered on record from all across the globe along with Tie up with 4 International Journals of high repute (Scopus Indexed and ABDC listed) for special issues for this conference with IMSUC faculty as Guest Editors.McGraw-Hill the leading science company and one of the "big three" educational publishers has agreed to lend their LOGO for branding on Certificates, which has further added to the repute of the conference.The Track Chairs for all the technical sessions in the discipline of Marketing, Finance,Human Resource, Entrepreneurship and strategy, General Management and Information Technology are from prominent institutes like IMI, IMT, NLU, Bimtech, GBU to name a few.

INAUGRAL
An inaugural ceremony for ICSED 2k19 was held on Saturday 9th November, 2019 at 10:05 a.m. in auditorium. The Program was initiated with National Anthem. The event was inaugurated by seeking blessings from Maa Saraswati by offering flower petals .The Treasurer CA Dr.Rakesh Chharia felicitate the Chief Guest Dr D S Chauhan, Former President AIU with a Sapling and Memento as a token of respect. Dr. Sapna Rakesh - Director IMS, Ghaziabad University Courses Campus address the young minds, Research scholars and academician and disseminated the message that despite of higher education, qualifications and good qualities, we fail to create specific goals to achieve our dreams. She focused on the relevance of exploring our own potential in research & extend our horizon to contribute towards the society through research.

The Chief guest Dr. D.S. Chauhan address the audience with the benefits of research and shared his experience of NASA where he worked for 6 years. He also mentioned that knowledge is infinite. So, we keep on acquiring knowledge every time. He mentioned the beautiful quote that "When you rich you are the father and when you are losing then then you have millions of fathers" and he concluded in his speech with the adaption of change as per time and readiness to take challenge can make India sustainable in new horizon. Afterwards, IJBRE (International Journal for Business Research & Entrepreneurship) was launched in presence of all dignitaries, chief guest, research scholar and students. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Chairperson BBA - Dr. Geeti Sharma, wherein she extended her heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries for gracing this event and announced grand opening of ICSED,2019.

TECHNICAL SESSION: MARKETING
The session was started at 11:00 AM. Market research is an odyssey of number and an epic of depth psychology. It's commonly an intense road of discovery, and many have travelled it lend to leave their wisdom for us. We did say intense, which we're sure most of you agree with when it comes to research. That has not changed since ancient times and continues till today. The track chairs in the area of marketing were Dr. Pooja Mishra, Associate Professor, Chairperson, Retail Management Program, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida and Dr. Pankaj Priya, Professor, Area head Marketing & Retail, Centre for Retail Management (BIMTECH).

Guests were felicitated with an eco-friendly sapling and memento. After that Researchers started their presentations. The presentation were given on topics like "Casual relationship digitalization in service sector","Impact of E-commerce on India's exports and investments". The papers presented were 8 from different colleges. At the end, all researchers were given consolation prize and certificate of participation. The best paper award in Research Scholar Category was bagged by Ms.Taanika Arora from Amity University.The best paper award in Academician Category was given to Ms.Jagriti Singh & Ms.Anjali Verma from IME College, Ghaziabad.

TECHNICAL SESSION:GENERAL MANAGEMENT & IT
The technical session of General Management and IT was conducted in MDP Room. The session began with the introduction of track chair and felicitating them with sapling by Dr. Geeti Sharma, Associate Professor, Chairperson BBA program. The track chair consists of following experts:

Dr, Geeti Sharma, Associate Professor, Economics, Area Chairperson Management, IMS Ghaziabad.
Dr.Vidushi Sharma, Head of Department, Computer Science and Engineering, Gautam Buddha University, NOIDA.
Dr. Shalini Rahul Tiwari, Associate Professor, Strategy innovation &Entrepreneurship, IMT Ghaziabad.

The paper presented were 8 from different colleges. The first presenter was S Glory Swarupa from Shankara Group of Institution, Jaipur. She presented on the topic Corporate Social Responsibility for Scaling UP Skill Development. Next presenter was Harshita Bhargave from Chitkara college of hospitality and management, Punjab. She explained on paper title Effect of Economic Condition On Business Growth: An Analytical Study. Saloni Panwar from DCrust University presented on the topic Fertilize Subsidies in India: Distribution and Consumption. Next presenter is Dr.Sahil Gupta from IMS Ghaziabad (university courses campus) he presented on topic Examining the Attitude of Youth Towards Online Advertising and Its Influence on their buying Intensions. The track chair experts asked various questions from each presenter. After all the presentations, guest gave certificates and awards to all the researchers and academicians and Best paper award in Research Scholar Category was bagged by Hemandra Bhist and Dr. Dilpreet Singh from Chitkara University) and best paper award in Academician category was given to Dr Sahil Gupta ( IMS UC), Dr Arun Aggarwal ( Chitkara University). The session ended with felicitating the guest with memento as a token of grace by Dr.Geeti Sharma.

TECHNICAL SESSION: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The technical session of human Resource was conducted in Room No. 407. The session began with the introduction of track chair and felicitating them with sapling by Dr. Shilpi Sarna, Associate Professor, HRM & Law IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus. The objective of this session is to develop an insight on HR's role in this digital era that helps the researchers imbibe a thorough knowledge on how HR has undergone dynamic shifts in its roles, functions and overall impact in shaping organization. The track chair consists of following experts:

Dr. D.P. Sahoo, Associate Professor, HR, IMT Ghaziabad.
Dr. Harepreet Kaur, Professor, National Law University, Delhi.
Dr. Shilpi Sarna, Associate Professor, HRM & Law IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus.

The paper presented were 9 from different colleges. The first presenter was Anju Sigroha from Dcrust University she presented on the topic Talent Management. Next presenter was Dr. Chand Prakash from SGT University, Gurugram he explained on paper title 'Study of leadership styles executed by school teachers'. Ayushi Tyagi & Geeta Mishra presented on the topic Performance management system effectiveness and employee engagement. The track chairs experts asked various questions from each presenter. After all the presentations, guest gave certificates and awards to all the researchers and academicians and Best paper award in category of Researcher scholar bagged by Ms.Amanpreet Kaur ,IKGPTU, Jalandhar and best paper award in the category of Academician was given to Dr. K. Tara Shankar, Ms.Kanchan Yadav and Dr. Chand Prakash, SGT University Gurugram. The session ended with felicitating the guest with memento as a token of grace by Dr. Shilpi Sarna.

TECHNICAL SESSION:ENTERPRENEURSHIP & STRATEGY
The session began with the introduction of track chair and felicitating them with sapling by Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee Associate Professor, Finance, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus to Dr. Manisha Sharma, associated professor, GBU. The objective of this session is to develop an insight that can help organisations to become more creative and innovative in creating values and to maintain a competitive advantage. The track chair consists of following experts :

Dr. Manisha Sharma (Associated Professor), GBU, Delhi.
Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee, Associate Professor, Finance, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus.

The papers presented were 8 on the different topics related to Entrepreneurship. The first paper was presented by- Shalini Garg on Towards creativity in Indian Software companies: Development of an instrument to select and evaluate creative practices in which she discussed about many HRM practices which impact employee creativity, establishing the relationship of HRM creativity relation in Indian software institute. Many more topic was presented but the topic which was very much appreciated by Dr. Manisha was-Sustainable issues in supply chain: The development and validation of scale for measuring Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) practices, Dynamic Capabilities and Enterprise Performance presented by Gunjan Tripathi. Next presenter was Anuradha Verma she presented on "Imparting Industry Relevant Skills through Skill Development Programs to enhance Internal Efficiencies for Selected Job Roles in Apparel Industry". The various questions were asked by the judges and various suggestions was given to improve their research. After all the presentations, guest gave certificates and awards to all the researchers and academicians and best paper award won by Gunjan Tripathi , Doon University in category of Researcher scholar and 2nd best paper award was won by Roopali Shukla, Chitkara University. The session ended by felicitated the guest with memento as a token of grace by Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee.

TECHNICAL SESSION:FINANCE
The session began with the introduction of track chair and felicitating them with sapling by Dr. Nidhi Srivastava Associate Professor, Finance, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus .Finance guides you to make shrewd and prudent decisions about cash flow and longer-term funding strategies. As you develop skills and strategies for using the funds you have and for accessing additional capital when needed, you'll improve your potential for leveraging new opportunities. The track chairs in the area of Finance were:

The 12 papers were presented from various renowned Institutions.To name a few were Amity College of Commerce and Finance, CT University, Ludhiana, IIFT etc.The topics presented were "A Study of Literature in Mergers and Acquisitions: Globalization of Investment" "Block chain Technology: A Revolution in Banking Sector", "Non-Performing Asset and Priority Sector Lending: A case of Indian Banking Sector" and many more.The various questions were asked by the experts and suggestions were given to improve their research. After all the presentations, guest gave certificates and awards to all the researchers and academicians and best paper award in category of Research scholar won by Kanishka Gupta and Sweta Goel ( Amity College of Commerce and Finance, Amity University, Noida, India) and best paper award in the category of Academician bagged by Rupali Misra and Puneeta Goel from Amity University. The session ended by felicitated the guest with memento as a token of grace by Dr. Nidhi Srivastava.

TECHNICAL SESSION: STUDENT PRESENTATION
Many students from undergraduate and postgraduate student delivered the presentation on various discipline HR, MARKETING, FINANCE ENTREPRENEURSHIP. The topics discussed were mainly on:

1 digital technology use in banking system
2 White collar crimes
3 Customers behaviour pattern effecting by social media marketing
4 Role of digitalisation in HR
5 Digitising-is India still dreaming?
6 AI adopting in banking sector in India - opportunities and challenges
7 Transforming integrated marketing communication
The Session was chaired by Prof Kapil Mohan & Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj.
