The department of Management, IMS Ghaziabad University courses campus organized an industrial visit to Yakult, Sonipat. The visit was comprised of 82 students from BBA-I semester, accompanied with three faculty members, viz. Prof. Aastha Sawhney, Prof. Nidhi Srivastava and Prof. Ashish Srivastava. Reaching to the destination, students were welcomed by the key resource persons from the Quality Department and then the students were served with Yakult drink and biscuits. Followed by an introductory session about product range and manufacturing process took place and then an insight tour as well as a brief information about all the plants and their processes was given to the students.

Yakult was commissioned in 1932 which is a wholly owned by Minoru Shirota. The production unit which spreads in 8 acres produces almost more than 2 lacks unit per day as per requirement. Over the years, Yakult had spread its innovation and product to almost every part of the India. Today, Yakult manufactures & sells both Yakult and Yakult light in all stores and markets in every part of the country. The Company also has its branch in many countries like USA, central Europe, East Asia including its origin country Japan.

Then, the students were freely allowed to ask their concerned queries to get in-depth knowledge about the company Yakult. The students were really lucky to achieve wisdom under serendipity, they are very thankful to the management, the Yakult group as a whole for giving them a scope to learn the best of production and operations in food and beverage sector.
