Interaction with seniors plays a very significant role in establishing cordial relationship with them and helps the newcomers to learn new things experienced by their elder ones. Both often share a unique bond during the college days. Seniors play the multi-faceted role of a friend and a guide. To cultivate a bond with new entrants School of Bio-Sciences organized "ODYSSEY- The Start of a Journey" on 28th September, 2017. The program was inaugurated by Chairperson and faculty members of the department. National Anthem followed by showcasing a glimpse of Biosciences department through a short film marked the event open. To set the ball rolling the first year students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. revealed their talents through various activities like Rampwalk, Dancing, Singing and Enacting in Role plays.
Second year students enthusiastically organized a wonderful program for their juniors and shared their experiences at IMS with them. New entrantsshared their feelings for being a part of IMS family and their experiences. The programme ends with Vote of thanks by Ms. Neha Anttal she welcomed the newcomers and extended her gratitude to all on behalf of her team members. Together we can Grow, Care, Achieve, Prosper and Succeed. Event was well organized by Bio-Sciences II year students under the guidance of faculty coordinator Ms. Neha Anttal.
