IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized a CEO-Talk session for BBA I Year students (2018-21) Batch on November 2, 2018 as a part of their industry academia interface that provides a platform for the students to interact with Industry expert to gain from their experiences on future direction of the industry, business market and global economy. The Guest was felicitated by eco-friendly sapling as a token of welcome by Dr. Geeti Sharma, HOD BBA Program.

The Guest speaker of the session was Mr. Bratindra Chakrovorty, CEO, Rapid Transpay Pvt. Limited, New Delhi looking into transit ticketing using digital cash medium. He has earlier been associated with companies like Price Waterhouse Coopers, Gemalto, Keane etc. He has more than 24 years of experience in Business Development, Team Leadership, Partner Development and Strategy for various Government and Private Enterprise deals. He has worked for international territories, built and developed teams as well as conceptualized innovative solutions for unique customer use cases. Some of the fields he worked on are in emerging technologies like IoT, Mobile Solutions, Transit Payments, Clearinghouses, NFC, Smart City components, Open Source Platforms, Smart Card applications and SMAC (social, mobile, analytics and cloud). He has worked in cross-cultural environments for international assignments at Australia, Bangladesh, Dubai, Libya, Nepal, UK and USA etc. In June 2018 NFC Innovation Award Program at London organized by NFC Forum, USA, Bratin is one of the international judges from India.

He interacted with the students on present scenario of business, importance of business communication in global village and how business will survive in Globalization era. Students also raised queries on various aspects of business at national and international platform. The session ends with lots of enthusiasm and motivation among the students.
