With this idea of identifying & nurturing the exceptional young talents, an Inter-School Quiz Competition was organized by IMS, Ghaziabad, University Campus on Friday, November 21, 2014 for class XII students.

There was an overwhelming response from the students and all the prominent schools from A wide range of questions related to current affairs, science and technology, art and literature, general knowledge, reasoning etc were posed for the students to prove their mettle in the competitive world. A stringent protocol was meticulously planned to provide an uninterrupted facility for the participants. The reporting time was 10:00 AM & class 12^th students from various schools started rushing through the doors of IMS, Ghaziabad UC eager to participate and share the excellent knowledge they had acquired so far.

Facilitating the morning rush of participants, coordinators & volunteers were quick to disperse them into their respective classrooms. The questions were Objective type & were divided into two sections. Section I- included Reasoning & GK, and Section-II comprised of questions related to the stream of student in class 12^th.

Delhi/NCR and adjoining cities participated with enthusiasm and vigor. About 800 students from 40+ schools participated in the competition; Holy Child School, DDPS Ghaziabad, D.A.V. Ghaziabad, Dr. Ambedkar Inter College, Bhagirath Public School to name a few.

The 1^st , 2^nd and 3^rd prize were Laptop, Tablet & Electronic Reader respectively. Divyam Singh from DDPS, Sanjay Nagar, Ghaziabad bagged 1^st position. 2^nd Position was secured by Aakash Agarwal from Ram Kishan Institute , Ghaziabad and Shruti Naithavi from Holy Child School, Ghaziabad came at 3^rd position. Consolation prizes were also given to  12 participants. Also every participant was provided with participation certificate form IMS, Ghaziabad.

The competition aimed to promote scholastic excellence and competence through healthy and fair competition among students from various schools. This was a major achievement for IMS Ghaziabad & it became possible with the dedicated efforts of IMSUC team & cooperation of students.
