Virtual Industrial Visit to Yakult Danone Pvt. Ltd.

The Management Department of IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organized a virtual industrial visit to Yakult Danone Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between Yakult Honsha, Japan and Group Danone of France, both of which are global probiotic leaders, in order to give an exposure to the real world for the First Year BBA students.

The event started with the welcome address of Dr. Geeti Sharma, Chairperson – BBA. She welcomed Mr. Aadish Jain, who agreed to give his time to provide an insight into the working of the organization, overcoming the shortcomings of the virtual mode. He started the discussion about how probiotic drinks impart good health to its drinkers and how Lactobacillus bacteria is actually beneficial for our digestive system. He also showed the video on how each product undergoes through rigorous more than hundred quality checks to ensure safety and maintain the quality of Yakult drinks. He also emphasized manufacturing and recycling of plastic bottles.
The objective of this session is to make the students understand about manufacturing, packaging and distribution of Yakult. He discussed the success mantras that how Yakult has strategies to sustain in the market. The session was initiated by Sagnik Dutta, BBA first year student and moderated by Prof Vanchan Tripathi, Assistant Professor, Management Department. The session ended with students question and on a gratitude note given by Mr. Vijay Shukla, Manager CRC and Dr. Shilpi Sarna , First Year Coordinator.
