Workshop On IoT

IoT(Internet of Things) is the emerging field of today’s world. There are lots of scopes in India for this technology because of the rapid development of automation like smart home, smart cities, smart devices etc. BCA department of IMS University Courses Campus, Ghaziabad conducted “ Online Workshop on IoT(Internet of Things)” for BCA 2nd Year students on 7th October 2020.
Mr. Rakesh Roshan, Assistant Professor(CS) conducted workshop on Internet of Things(IoT) as a resource person. He interacted with the students and discussed the future of technology. After that Mr. Rakesh Roshan given the introduction and working of Arduino, Raspberry Pi , Ultrasonic sensor, Gas Sensor, sound sensor etc. At last he demonstrated that how to write a program in Arduino IDE for IoT devices and upload to Arduino.
The session was very interactive and student enjoyed the session also. The session was ended with the demonstration of the Arduino IDE with how to write program for IoT.
Learning Outcome:
Student learn about the concept of IoT and Devices to develop the IoT product like Arduino Kit, raspberry Pi, Sensors etc. They also know about Arduino IDE for writing the program for IoT Devices.
