The department of journalism and Mass communication at IMS Ghaziabad (University courses campus) organised celebration of Navratri Mahotsav on October 24, 2020. The event took place on virtual platform. The event started with the dance performance on Saraswati Vandana.Then Mr Prashant (3rd year) and Ms Vidhi (2nd year) anchors of the event warmly welcomed the faculty members and all the students then Ms Vidhi invited the participants to showcase their dance performances. No. of students participated from all the departments. After all the powerful and energetic dance performances Dr Sapna Rakesh, Director IMSUC appreciated the students by the words of wisdom. At the end Asst.Prof. Sandhya Sharma, end the event with a quote ?Komal hai kamzor nahin, Shakti ka naam hi nari hai?. Jag ko jeevan dene wali, maut bhi tujhse Hari hai?. The scintillating event eventually come to an end with Ms Priyanka varshney (BJMC 1st year) titled as Garba queen, Mridula Sharma (BJMC 1st year) as best attire and Khushi Arora (BBA 2nd year) as miss energetic. Combined efforts of the entire department led to a joyous and fun-filled event. Learning Outcome- The whole event led students to inculcate a sense of pride in religion and devotion in a way of festive celebration.
