IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus, Management Department organised an Inter Institutional Event "ELUCIDATION 2k20" on November 20-21, 2020 in association with STUGMA-Student Ghaziabad Management association & KreaNabo- The Buzz Communication cell. The Opening Ceremony was begun on November 21,2020 wherein Dr. Geeti Sharma, Chairperson Management Department addressed the audience and expressed her welcome for all the dignitaries.

The Alumni Guest of Honour Mr. Nishant Nalwa, AWS Associate certified, GCP associate cloud Engineer certified, Cisco trusted business advisor-BVP professional iterated the importance of Communication in all spheres of life and helped the students relate to it better through a presentation.

Moving further, a short video clip was shared with the audience showcasing Guest of Honour Ms. Gemini Dhar, International Keynote speaker | Take Charge Expert and Author | Global Fashion Entrepreneur | Empowerment Coach. Ms. Dhar shared her incredibly inspiring and deeply personal story amongst the audience. She described communication in a manner that framed it not only as a way to speak but as something containing many more factors within it such as - thought process, intent, connect to count a few.

Ma’am was followed by another Guest of Honour Prof. David Wittenberg, Professor of entrepreneurship innovation at the Indian school of management and entrepreneurship, Mumbai,Corporate Trainer and Consultant, Author, Speaker & Educationalist. He shared a presentation and involved everyone with his hilarious teaching style, interspersed with wonderful anecdotes of his experiences as a foreigner living in India, he went on to relate the lessons he had learnt from these experiences to communication. He highlighted many new facets of communication such as high-context communication & low context communication including communication cultures, what could possibly go wrong when cultures interact and some major key point to focus on while communicating. Further Mr. Ashutosh, Praetor of the KreaNabo-The Buzz Communication Cell officially declared Elucidation 2k20 open.

Event 1: Podworld: Enter the World Of Podcast

Podworld is the very first event under Elucidation 2k20, wherein the participants had to record their podcast on any topic which they want. We received 91+ registrations for participation from students of different institutions, schools, and colleges PAN India such as IIMs, IITs, Hansraj College, to name a few. The event started with a talk show where the panellist provided enlightenment on what podcasts are and how they are helpful. The session began with the introduction of panellist. The objective of this talk show is to provide audience a broad view on do’s and don’ts of podcast. The panel consists of:

The discussion was initiated by Mr. Kapil Garg, moderator of the session. He initiated the conversation by quoting
–“podcast are not new but nowadays trending between the millennials.” Followed by the panellists. some random podcasts which we received from the participants were played to give a glimpse about the activity. Lastly, the MOCs proposed a vote of thanks and asked the participants to join the valedictory ceremony for the crowning of the winners.

Event 2: Vichar Visitor

At IMS Ghaziabad university courses campus students are groomed to be leaders not only through professional excellence rather holding the value of integrity, tolerance& mutual respect, that can lead the world and raise their voice when they saw something wrong. With a strong sense and purpose to cultivate the leadership styles amongst the student, management department at IMS Ghaziabad University courses campus organized Vichar Vistaar under the umbrella of Elucidation 2k2o in order to ignite the thought process on gender equality. The objective of this event is to provide a platform for the future of our nation to discuss and present their views on the topic.
Mocs Ms. Nitika Sharma & Ms. Maitrai Pathak started the event by reciting a self-composed poem followed with a welcome address by Mr. Shailesh Kumar (Judge).

Through rigorous brainstorming of the members two topics were decided for the competition. The topic was:
• Men’s Issue need to be addressed
• Women issued need to be Normalized

More than 25 participants from each department participated in this event and present their viewpoints on the given topic. The students were judged based on their content, body language & overall presentation. The winners of the event entailed:

Event 3: The Mystry Plaza:

At IMSUC the Management department, along with the KreaNabo- The Buzz Communication Cell, organized the event the Mystery Plaza Wherein more than 45 plus team participated in that event and it had four round initially but as the name states there was a surprise round as known as round zero all the round were fun based communication related. The rounds entailed.

Let’s Identify (Image based storytelling)
Hodgepodge (Jumble)

Participants were given ample opportunities to showcase their talents followed by the Round. The participant was judged on the basis of the clarity of their communication, time they took to give the answer & their relatability to the topic provided. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. the event was bang on and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly at these hard-pandemic times such event helps us to enjoy a bit. The winner was awarded by a trophy and certificate for the same.

Event 4: Pantomime: Mime Your Way to prize The event began with the words of Prof. Vanchan Tripathi where she welcomed the participants. Followed by brief introduction of IMS and KreaNabo - The Buzz Communication Cell by the Masters of Ceremony Ms. Mansi Bansal and Mr. Sheel Shukla. Jury for the day, Prof. Yagbala Kapil was introduced along with she took the screen to welcome and motivate the participants with her words of wisdom. The MOC's described the rules and regulations, judgement criteria to the participants & jury.

All the participants came up with marvelous videos delivering umpteen messages with a spice of comedy & motivation. To add fun & laughter in the event at some intervals, an interesting fact was asked by the students regarding Mr. Bean. Further some funny clippings of Mr. Bean were played to
make the audience laugh & engage. Moving on one of the participant Ms. Harshita Sharma entertain the audience by performing stand-up comedy.

Finally, the event was drawn to a close where MOC's congratulated the participants for showcasing such an amazing talent on this virtual platform

Event 5: Talkology: Extempore Explosion

“Talkology- Extempore Explosion”, an extempore competition organized by Kreanabo Cell of Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad. The event was kick-started by Sagnik Dutta and Vanshika Gupta. After introducing the event, a short glimpse of previous events of ELCUDICATION 2K20’s event series was shared by Mr. Ashutosh (preator KreaNabo). The event was judged by Mr. Pretyush Sharma, alumni of IMSUC, Ghaziabad. A gratitude note to the judge for joining the event was given by Dr. Geeti Sharma, HOD of the Management Department.

Moving further, a whole pack of motivation was given by Mr. Pretyush Sharma to all the participants. A short interaction took place among the audience, the participants, and the anchors to know the well-being of each other.

After the interaction, the foremost part of the event was started. It was begun with the participant from 8th standard, Bhavya Shri. Simultualousy, other participants were coming, playing their part and the interaction continued.
The competition came to an end with some on the spot participants. After that, the journey of Mr. Pretyush Sharma with IMSUC was shared by him and he concluded with some motivating words for his juniors.

The event was wrapped up by Prof. Aastha Sawhney with a thank note to all the participants, event coordinators, and judge. And also the judge was honored by e-memento on the behalf of the IMSUC Campus.

Event 6: Emergence: Live Art & Poetry

At IMS Ghaziabad university courses campus we strongly belief that not every student can be good in academics and to provide equal opportunity to the artists and poets IMS Ghaziabad university Courses campus in association with KreaNabo organized an event Emergence: Live Art and Poetry. Students are allowed to create a poster and poem within given time frame of 90 minutes. This endeavour is a to appreciate the talents of the students. An interactive concourse ignited the
inquisitiveness of participants. The main motive of this event is to bring out extraordinary talent among the participants. The judges for the event were CA Chinu Agarwal and Prof. Subhro sen Gupta. The participants were evaluated on the basis on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall impact. Total of 34 students participated in this event. Participants were given ample opportunities to showcase their talents followed by the theme. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. The winner was awarded by a trophy and certificate for the same.

Event 7: Comicstaan: The Real Humor
Kreanabo (The buzz communication cell) at IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus has organized yet another Mega- Event, “ELUCIDATION 2020(Comicstaan) Connect! Collaborate! Communicate! on 21st November 2020 to bring out the upcoming budding stand- up comedians from different universities across India.

The Judge for the session was Mr. Nirbhay Sharma. He has done various theaters and Nukkad natak for almost 8 years along with various performances as a stand-up artist. The session commenced with the introduction of the IMS-Ghaziabad
University Courses Campus followed by introduction of KreaNabo. The Anchors started the event with one funny disclaimer in Hindi and then it followed by a small funny skit to light up the atmosphere for the Comicstaan event. Soon after that anchors followed the script. Mr. Nirbhay sharma motivated the participants with his word. Soon after that the event flow was very smoothly conducted. 7 participants were finalized after the screening round. Every participant proved his mettle and tried their level best to make the audience laugh. Lastly, Mr. Nirbhay Sharma has given his words of wisdom and valuable feedbacks to all the participants

The Closing Ceremony was begun on November 21, 2020 wherein Dr. Geeti Sharma, Chairperson Management Department addressed the audience and congratulated all the participants for their zeal and enthusiasm in the event.

The Guest of Honour Mr.Vinay Gupta, Executive Director, Ghaziabad Management Association having numerous years of industry experience congratulated all the winners, participants and organisers for the success of Mega event. He further mentioned that these activities are not solely about imparting stronger professional skills but also an opportunity to spend time with others of similar interests especially in virtual mode which has completely changed the meaning of communication. All winners have also shared their experience about the event and appreciated the efforts made by KreaNabo team.
The Master of Ceremony Mr. Ashutosh proposed the formal vote of thanks and also gave a heartfelt gratitude to Mr.Shiv N Bharadwaj ,Sr.Counsel KreaNabo for his sincere efforts in this grand event.
