Summary of the Event:

IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised National Seminar on Post
Covid-19: Emerging Trends in Information Technology and Computer Applications on 27th February, 2021.The whole event was divided into inaugural sessions and 3 special sessions for the guest lectures. Total 250+ participants registered from different part of the country and some of them from other country also.

The event began with the welcome speech and addressing by Dr. Sapna  Rakesh ,Director and Dr. Gagan Varshney, Chairperson(BCA). Prof. Neeru Saxena Anchored in this National Seminar ETITCA 2021.

Dr. Maya Ingle, Professor & Sr System Analyst, Devi Ahilya University, Indore introduced the topic and described her ideas on “Role of Technological Trends in Shaping the World”. She covers approx all the emerging trends of Information Technology and Computer Science after Covid-19.

In 2nd session Dr.S.Balamurugan , SMIEEE,ACM Distinguished Speaker,
Founder & Chairman - Albert Einstein Engineering and Research Labs (AEER Labs)  took over the stage and started by praising everyone present there for being so effective. He further started explaining “Cognitive Computing and Artificial Intelligence” and also explained major difference between both technologies. He also had given idea about the different implementations of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Computing.

In 3rd Session Mr. Satyendra Singh, Project Manager (Accenture, Mumbai) explained all about  Software Development Models such as Waterfall Model, Spiral Model, Agile Models, V-Shaped Models, Prototype Model , Devops  and their uses by also adding that, “We are on a journey to Cognitive Computing”. He further explained things about “Agile- Cynefin” and where we can apply it. And he concluded his session by explaining Scrum Framework

Finally Vote of Thanks given by Prof. Rakesh Roshan where he thanked every participant, students and our reputed guest speakers for their kind words and valuable time. The session was very interactive and lots of others questions also asked by the students/participants.
