REPORT OF Buddy Lecture on “Social Media Goals”

Summary of the Event:   

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organised "BUDDY LECTURE" by Mr. Prashant Kumar student of BJMC 3rd year. On the topic “Social Media Goals” he told the students about the key part of social media success which goals and targets to set for the success.Without goals, it’s hard to know exactly how well your social media strategy is performing.

He talked about 9 very different, but effective social media goals and for each goal he quoted relevant metrics to track and share how to measure the results. Mr. Prashant also told his juniors about that Social media isn’t only a marketing tool, it can affect almost every area of an organization. Social media is a key channel for brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, customer support and much more.

The session was organized on 17th April 2021 via Zoom platform. The lecture also included the introduction of Social media Goals and its importance. 

Learning Outcome:

The session was interactive and through this the juniors came to know new things related to social media: Editing, copying and copyright about social media marketing. Prashant also told his juniors about the things like how to handle Twitter, What its basics are and what is the copyright. For social media marketing he told the students about Twitter, LinkedIn , word press and podcast.

He encouraged his juniors to use social media for their own growth. The session was interesting, informative and through this the students came to know different uses of social media.
