The Management Department of Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad University Courses Campus has organised “Mentoring Together Program” on 24th April for BBA HR Specialisation Students (2018-21 Batch)for briefing students on HR project details and guidelines. The objective of this program is to empower undergraduate students to become better human resource professionals and can create evergreen essence of HR in the organization they shall be the part of. HR Specialisation has launched this initiative to help students become more corporate-ready by completing HR assignments and distributing them, so they can see how HR initiatives are applied and how they fit into the current situation. Furthermore, as a part of this mentoring scheme, all project groups will be mentored by academia and alumni industry mentors.

 

The programwas begun with a welcome address by Dr.Geeti Sharma (chairperson- BBA) wherein, she shared her views on the value of this initiative and praised the collaboration of academia and industry mentors (Alumni) for student mentoring. Further Dr Shilpi Sarna Head BBA HR Specialisation, shared the project’s completion guidelines, Projects Groups, Topics and mentors’ details for each group. 

The program has also witnessed the presence of all proud alumni mentors and HR faculties Prof Yagbala Kapil, Prof Vanchan Tripathi, Prof Nidhi Srivastava, Prof Akansha Tyagi and Dr.Anchal Luthra, who have interacted with students and highlighted their project completion expectation.

 

Overall, more than 60 students have participated and program ended with Vote of thanks given by Mr Dr Shilpi Sarna and Mr Ashutosh MOC of the program.
