Faculty development program is an essential element of institutional effectiveness. Outcome of development program strongly reflects in levels of student engagement, motivation and learning. Faculty who engage in professional development experiences benefit in terms of increased vitality, informed pedagogy, teaching innovation and scholarly teaching.

In this regard a one day FDP on “Research Methodology using SPSS” was organized at IMS, Ghaziabad (NAAC Accredited & Affiliated to CCSU) on February, 12, 2016 by Assistant Professor Mr. Kumar Saurav, Department of Management, IMS, Ghaziabad.

Director of the institute, Dr. B.P. Pethiya encouraged the participants for the hands on training sessions. The participants were acquainted with fundamental concept of Research Methodology, Formulation of Objectives and Hypothesis, Introduction to Variables, Measurement, Research Process, Classification, Tabulation and Charting of Data. Participants also learnt the practical part of Chi-Square and ANOVA through SPSS. An enthusiastic 15+ faculty members eagerly participated to make it successful.
