Spardha 2016 an Intra college event of IMS Ghaziabad, was started on 8th april with great zeal and spirit. The event was inaugurated by our chief guest Mr. Ashu Verma, Mayor Ghaziabad, Mr.Rakesh Chariya, General Secretary – IMS Group of Institution and Director of the Institute, Dr. B.P.Pethiya. The enthusiasm in students and faculties were at its peak. With the wonderful words of Mr. Ashu Verma, whole surroundings was filled with applaud and slogans “Bharat mataki jai”, “VandeMatram“. Dr.B.P.Pethiya, Director of the Institute also motivated students by his words of wisdom. The tri colour balloons were also flown by them.
The day witnessed a high sporting spirit in all the participants. Indoor games (Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess) were having a huge completion with hundreds of participants. Participants in outdoor games (Cricket, Football, 100 m Race, Long jump, high jump, Tug of war, Volleyball) were creating new records every now and then.
There was a huge participation among girls and boys. Even the faculties actively took interest in playing games. The first day of event SPARDHA was a huge success with achievements of students.
This all became possible with the dedicated efforts IMS team and student coordinators.
