Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad has organise a workshop ?Basics of Research Methodology? on 23-10-2016 . This workshop has been organized for the students of BBA-IInd year. The objective of this workshop was to give hands on training on SPSS for primary research to the students with latest concepts of Quantitative Research tools and technique. 35 Students from BBA-IInd year attended the workshop. Topic Covered 1. Primary research, survey-based data collection, Importance of Data analysis in Research Writings 2. Introduction of SPSS interface, Importing Data in SPSS from Excel 3. Frequency Distribution, Descriptive Analysis 4. Parametric Tests, Non-Parametric Tests School of Management extended a note of gratitude to Dr. B. P Pethia, Director, IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus, for his reserach initiatives. Prof. Kumar Saurav ,Dr. Shilpi Sarna, and other faculty members also spared their valuable time for the workshop. Dr. Geeti Shamra, Assistant Professor, was the resource person for the workshop. Dr. Shamra encouraged the students to push themselves further in the field of academic research and to have importance of reading in the same.
