Summary of the Event:
Today, when humanity is facing the crisis of COVID-19, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus is taking all the preventive measures for safety and health of all students while setting a new benchmark in teaching-learning and research process by grasping the power of technology. With this regard, School of Biosciences, IMS Ghaziabad, UC Campus organized an Induction Ceremony to welcome the students to the next year session, which was held on 20th August 2021. We are happy to share that the upcoming year is thrilled with unlimited opportunities to enjoy campus life by exploring and engaging together.
The event incepted with a welcome note by our visionary Director Prof (Dr) Ajay Kumar. He motivated all the students that they need to focus about their career with their complete hard work. He addressed that without the focus in prospective area, the students are unable to achieve their goals in future.
This induction ceremony was graced by our Chief guest Dr. Tripti Bhatnagar, Managing Director of Codon Biotech, Noida. She demonstrated about various aspects of Biotechnology from the students? point of view. She also added about the entrepreneur skill management of the numerous arenas of Biotechnology & Microbiology. Along with this, she has encouraged to all the students how to build a start up level career by availing the grants from Government. Dr. Surabhi Johari, Programme Chairperson, formally gave the vote of thanks to our eminent guest Dr. Tripti Bhatnagar.
The programme was preceded by the CRC session by Prof. Sapna Kumar and followed by few scientific games for students? encouragement. Achievers of the batch of B.Sc. and M.Sc. were presented with mementoes and certificates under academic excellence category, science day contribution and other club activities.
This entire event has been demonstrated by the faculty co-ordinators Dr. Anwesha Khanra, Prof. Akanksha Jain & Dr. Tripti Singh.
