REPORT OF Inaugural Program of Diploma in Data Science

Summary of the Event:

IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized its most awaited inaugural event in the series of launch of the ?IMS BCA=BCA + Diploma in Data Science? on 24 August 2021. The session focused on the paramount importance of data in today?s era, wherein all the crucial decisions are based on logical reasoning and data analysis. Mr. Ramanan Ramanathan was invited as the chief guest for this invigorating session. In his address he mentioned that data science is all about extracting meaningful insights from data with the help of analytical expertise, programming skills and data management skills. He shared that the major challenge is to ensure the validity and reliability of data by ensuring the right source of information collection. All relevant facts and instances shared by him reflected that data science is becoming inevitable because of data explosion in almost every field, especially after the advent of pandemic crisis.

Learning Outcome:

All the participants were able to get a clear roadmap to figure out how technology has changed everything unimaginably in our hyperconnected world of challenging business climate.  Students pursuing undergraduate courses at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) namely-Ishika Gupta, Deepali Tomar, Yash Sharma, Utkarsh Pradhan, Abhishek Sharma, Vanya Mudgal and Deepansh Saxena interacted with Mr. Ramanan Ramanathan and gained numerous insights on the promising avenues of data science.
