The Department of Management (Finance Club) organized an event “Financial Planning” with special reference to Tax Saving Instruments. Where, different cases of a family were given to each team to plan and achieve future financial goals particular to that family. The Program was formally inaugurated by Campus Director Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Dean Dr. Pooja Rastogi, and Chairperson BBA Dr. Geeti Sharma along with All Faculty members.
The objective of conducting the event was to gain some knowledge of Tax Saving Instruments especially under section 80 C of Income Tax Act by the Students. Where, Number of teams from BBA Department of IMS, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) participated for Screening Round, out of which top five teams qualified for Final Round. The Students presented their solutions by putting lots of efforts in the field of Taxation.
In Competition, the team consisting of Vaibhav Chaudhary & Yash Garg from BBA Ist Year adjudged as 1st whereas the team from BBA Ist Year consisting of Himanshu Bhardwaj & Karan Sharma stood 2nd and the team consisting of Utkarsh Vikram Singh & Akash Aggrawal from BBA Final Year got the 3rd place.
