Summary of the Event:

The School of Management along with the Finance Club organized a 5-days workshop on Financial Literacy in collaboration with The FinLit Project, NISM and Kotak securities. The session started on 5th Dec.2021 with the valuable insights shared by Dr. Geeti Sharma (Chairperson).

The anchors of the session introduced the guest Ms. Neha Misra (CEO & Co Founder The FinLit Project). She took the stage and initiated the 5-days Financial Literacy workshop. In this 5-days session, she covered all the aspects of investment and personal finance.

The first day of the session started with interactions of guest and participants. On the same day she also covered the basics of financial markets.

Second day she covered the roadways to stock market and investment. And following the third day she covered various concepts of mutual funds by clearing all the doubts of participants like NAV, EXIT LOAD, UNIT, AMC, FUND MANAGER,etc. Derivatives and its type were covered under the 4th day session. On the last day some basic concepts of technical analysis were covered and a long discussion happened with participants about investment.

 

 

 

 

On a whole 5-day session was motivating for all participants. Almost 200+ participants attended the session every day. The learnings from the session are incredible and everyone can apply in their life.

 

The entire session was coordinated by faculty coordinator Prof. Ashish Srivastava and Dr. Karuna Gupta and student?s coordinator Mr Ujjwal Dubey and Ankit Kumar.

In last, the session ended with lots of new insights of financial markets. Dr Karuna Gupta presented the vote of thanks to Guest speaker and participants with this, session ended successfully.
