REPORT OF STUGMA

Summary of the event: The event started around 9:00 AM with National Anthem and Saraswati Vandana, and then there was a brief introduction about IMS as well as GMA. Further the guests Mr. Dharmendra Singh, President, GMA & Deputy Executive Director, Shri Ram Pistons & Rings Ltd. Ghaziabad, Mr. Vinay Kumar, Executive Director, Ghaziabad Management Association, Mr. Rahul Aggarwal and Mr. S K Verma were honored on stage with pastoral saplings and memento by Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus. Next Dr. Geeti Sharma, HOD, Management Department, IMS welcomed Prof. (Dr.)  Ajay Kumar with sapling. Next, he was invited on stage by the speaker for the welcome address. He went on by welcoming students from different colleges and said that every competition should be taken in a positive way. He also mentioned about the 32 glorious years of IMS and about the recent NAAC- A accreditation. He ended his timeline by wishing all the best to every participant. Further Mr. Vinay Kumar was invited on stage for his precious words. He said that GMA?s objective is to transform the society and gave the concept of ASK ? Attitude, Skill and Knowledge for one?s betterment. At the end he wished students all the best for their paper presentation and thanked IMS for this wonderful event. Next, Mr. Dharmendra Singh was welcomed on the dais for his kind words. He started by welcoming everyone on the behalf of GMA and thanked CA Dr. Rakesh Charia for feeding the thought of STUGMA in 2019. He mentioned the importance of good communication and told the students to use the dais to remove their communication fear. He, at last wished students all the best for their paper presentation. Then the event moved on to the presentation part with topics being:

1. The influence of social media on Business.
2. Impact of Fintech on Retail Banking.
3. Cryptocurrency: A bright future or just a fad?
4. Impact of New Education Policy 2020 on Management Education

Then the rules were introduced and they also mentioned about the wheel of fortune. 16 teams presented their content according to their turn via wheel of fortune and chit system. Every team delivered their thought with true enthusiasm and full confidence. The presentation part of the event ended and then the guest Mr. Rahul Aggarwal was invited on stage for his deliberation. He congratulated everyone who participated and told people present there to develop the attitude of winning, to have a successful life ahead. At last Mr. S K Saxena was called on stage to express his views for the same topic. He went on by sharing his experience. He gave everyone the mantra of CHINTAN and MANAN before preparing anything. He congratulated the ones who won and the ones who did exceptionally well in the presentation.

Later on, the results were declared with Mr. Kartik Sharma and Mr. Karan (KIET) being the winners of the event, Ms. Kamakshi and Ms. Khyati (AKGIM) being the 1^st runner up and 2^nd runner up being Mr. Dhruv Baboota and Mr. Sachin Singh Rawat (IMSUC).

Furthermore, the event ended by 3:30 PM with Mr. Vinay Kumar?s formal vote of thanks and then the anchors thanked everybody who made this event a grand success.
