REPORT OF INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO Mirza International (REDTAPE)

Abstract of Visit:

IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organized an industrial visit to Mirza International (REPTAPE), Greater Noida for students of MIB batch (2021-23). The visit started with the welcome of students. Students were taken to the Manufacturing unit.Unit was divided into many divisions.Students got an opportunity to have interaction withMr.Chetan Saini, Production Manager, Mirza International, Greater Noida,where he told about Mirza International Greater Noida Unit as a 100% export house to countries like: Europe,U.K, US. He also explained his duties and responsibility as aProduction manager. After the brief introduction of Mira International, students went taken to manufacturing units, where they saw themodels of every manufactured product by Mirza International like Ladies shoes (Leather) Further, students went for plant visit, Leather processing unit, where students sawthe compression machines and various technology which used in shoes manufacturing sector. Students have learnt about various skills required for cost reduction. The head of mechanical department explained that they import the heavy machines from abroad which cost to Rs.1-2 crore and the work which can be done by human resources without much time consuming and efficiency, they do some amount of work by themselves and remaining from imported machines.

This gives the motivation to students to think more from the entrepreneurial aspect and welfare to our country. The Visit ended with the question and answer overall it was great learning experience for everyone.
