Summary of the Event:

The Union Budget aids in controlling the economic fluctuations as well. It ensures proper handling of inflation and deflation, thus bringing about economic stability. During inflation, surplus budget policies are implemented, while deficit budget policies are devised during deflation. To understand the scenario of the budget to the student of Post-Graduation. With this objective IMS GhaziabadUC Campus has organized a ?Panel Discussion on Union Budget 2022-2023? for students of MIB (2021-23) on 05- February 2022. The session began with the warm welcome and the introduction of our esteemed Judges Dr.IndraniBhattacharjee(Professor, IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus) and Mr. Subhro Sen Gupta(Assistant Professor, IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus).

The session started with brief overview of the union budget 2022-2023 which was given by student coordinators. In the panel discussion there were 8 teams which was divide into the groups of three members per team, and they chose the different sectors from the union budget like Roads and transport sector , railway sector, defence sector etc. In which they have presented the presentation on the various aspect of budget and where budget is being allocated for the different sectors andthey have done the analysis on their part, after each presentation students are required to give the answers which are being asked by the judges. During this session student got about the government vision of spending on the various sector for the development and growth of the economy, and what is the impact of union budget in the particular sectors after the allocation of the funds provided by the HonourbleFinance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman.

Used correctly, a budget does not restrict you, it empowers you. With this learning the discussion came to an end by presenting the e-memento to the Judges. Overall it was the knowledgeable and great learning session for everyone.
