Summary of the Event:

Data science combines multiple fields, including statistics, scientific methods, artificial intelligence (AI), and data analysis, to extract value from data. Those who practice data science are called data scientists, and they combine a range of skills to analyse data collected from the web, smartphones, customers, sensors, and other sources to derive actionable insights. The term electronic commerce (ecommerce) refers to a business model that allows companies and individuals to buy and sell goods and services over the Internet. Ecommerce operates in four major market segments and can be conducted over computers, tablets, smartphones, and other smart devices. Ecommerce has helped businesses especially those with a narrow reach to gain access to and establish a wider market presence by providing cheaper and more efficient distribution channels for their products or services.

School of Information Technology of IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organizes Workshop on ?Uncovering Data-driven strategies for E-commerce using Data science?on 14/02/2022 from 11:00 AM onwards on zoom Platform.

The session was started with the address of Chairperson and brief the students about the importance of data. After the introduction and welcome of guest Mr. EshankAgarwal,  Founder& CEO (Jishu Excellence Pvt. Ltd.) and Advisory Board Member in ReadMyCourse. The speaker had explained why do we learn data scienceand flow of data in data science , formulate strategies to solve business challenges and skills required for Data scientist.

The session was very informative and interactive and lots of students joined and learned about Uncovering Data-driven strategies for E-commerce using Data science.At the end e-momento was presented to the Guest by chairperson of the school. The session ended with the expectation for more such programs in the future on the latest technology.
