One Week FDP- Research Methodology: Tools & Techniques

IMSUC Research Cell- IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organized- ?One Week Faculty Development Program on Research Methodology: Tools and Techniques? from February 14^th, 2022 to February 18^th, 2022. The FDP has witnessed Pan India participation from various institutions and research communities along with the IMSUC campus Faculty Members.

The Day 1 of this one-week Faculty Development Program, commenced with the Inaugural Session from 1:30 PM onwards. The objective of the FDP was to provide a rich array of opportunities for the Research Scholars and Faculties to learn, grow, and discover different segments of Research Methodology. The event began with the welcome address by MOC, Prof. Komal Kapoor from IMS School of Managementwherein she talked about the importance of research in all fields of life, she also introduced the Resource Person Dr. Manisha Sharma, Associate Professor at SVKM?sNarseeMonjee, Mumbai, wherein the emphasis was laid on basics of Research methodology, problem identification and how to design a research framework on the basis of theory and sampling techniques. The second day started with our Resource Person explaining about the literature review & Hypothesis development,questionnaire designing and the briefing about univariate and multivariate variables for research techniques.  The day 3 of the one-week FDP began by Dr. AnchalLuthra, Assistant Professor, IMS School of Managementwith the introduction of our second resource person Dr Shailesh Kaushal, Associate professor at University of Lucknow, wherein he started with emphasizing on data analysis tools using SPSS, data handling and cleaning techniques, and briefing about parametric and non-parametric test in research methodology. On the day 4 of this program Dr. Shailesh Kushal taught the participants about various test such as T-test, paired T-test, Z-test one way ANOVA and Two-way ANOVA in SPSS. The last day of the FDP Dr. Kaushalcommenced with discussion on the selection of appropriate data analysis techniques, Correlation - Bivariate, Multivariate regression to use and interpret the research data analysis.

The overall programme was extremely educative and learning filled session that benefited the participants.  The valedictory session was also organized at the end of the FDP on 18th Feb 2022. Wherein, Prof Dr Ajay Kumar, Director IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) congratulated all the participants for successfully completing the One- Week FDP. He also said that the participants have enriched a lot from this program professionally and personally both.   Dr. Shilpi Sarna, Prof, IMS School of Managementgave the official vote of thanks to Dr. Manisha Sharma, Dr Shailesh Kaushal, IMS Executive Council Members (CA (Dr.) Rakesh Chharia and MrVidurChharia) Director IMSUC, Research Cell members, faculties and student members for their constant support and encouragement.
