Report on Blood Donation Camp

“Blood Donation Costs You Nothing, But It Can Mean the World to Someone It Need.”

The IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) in coalition with Rotary Club, Sahibabad organized a Blood Donation Camp in the IMSUC Campus on 27^th April, 2022. This contribution of noble cause towards the society was executed by the SSR Club of IMSUC.

The session began at around 9:00 am and continued up to 5 pm, with a steady stream of donors throughout. All the faculty, staff members, and students from various programs of IMSUC along with the staff and doctors of Vardan Multispeciality Hospital had gathered to convey the message to society, "A gift of blood is the gift of life. There is no substitute for human blood".

Furthermore, CA (Dr) Rakesh Charria (General Secretary, IMS Group of Institutions), Prof (Dr) Ajay Kumar (Director, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus), and Vidur Charria (Executive Council Member, IMS Group of Institutions) welcomed the esteemed guests and members of the Rotary Club on this noble cause of blood donation camp. Dr Lalit Khanna (District Governor Elect), Mrs Amita Mohindru (Key Member, Rotary Club), Mr Nirmal Singh (President, Rotary Club) and Arun Agarwal (Secretary, Rotary Club) were the esteemed guests of the day.

Dr Ajay manifested signs of happiness by seeing enthusiastic students’ participation in this noble cause. He further stated that IMSUC is grateful for the awesome response that it received in this drive. He also stated that hopes to see the same response in the future and all the potential lives can be saved.

More than 500+ students from IMS Ghaziabad enthusiastically participated in the camp by donating their blood to perform their duty toward serving society. The esteemed dignitaries appreciated and motivated the efforts of the students for their initiative which can save thousands of lives. They also congratulated the efforts of the organization. Throughout the day everybody showed a true embodiment of what we believe in - selfless service with a smile. The donors received the certificate of recognition along with refreshments.

IMSUC believes that a healthy body infuses positive energy, spirit, strong mind, and focus on life. Along with the Blood Donation Camp, a special facility for the full-body check was also available for everyone where they had the liberty to get the checked their eye health, bone health, and so on.

With the help of a dedicated team of faculty and staff, the camp was executed with precision bringing glory to each one associated with the program and making the event successful.
