Hackthon-2022 An Annual Inter-Institute Technical Fest in association with CSI (Computer Society of India, Ghaziabad Chapter has witnessed a jam-packed computer-buffoons to compete, starve and excel from others. Our event sponsor was  APPWARS Technology Pvt. Ltd. where More than 350 students had registered from 27 schools and colleges from Delhi-NCR region namely. Apart from IMS 27 plus Institutes and schools Sir Chotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology Meetut, KIET Group of Institute, AKGEC, ABES EC, Ryan International School, DPSG Vasundhara, PGDAV, Delhi University, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Delhi   and many more premier institutes participated in Hackathon 2022. The event was formally  inaugurated with the motivating words of Director IMS University Courses Campus , Ghaziabad  Prof (Dr.) Ajay Kumar. The Guest of Honor were  Mr. Mandhir Anchal, Group Manager, Mercer Consultancy India Pvt. Ltd.  And Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Senior Project Manager, IBM who had described the importance of such kind of technical fest and how these events are helpful in improving their technical and innovative skills. Alumni guest Mr. Sparsh Singhal of Batch 2011-14 working as Operation Manager at Global Packaging FZE Perfume Bottles Decoration and Design and Ms. Shweta Khanna of Batch 2016-19 working as Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services were the part of the valedictory session . They expressed gratitude to the university for inviting them to such a great occasion and wished them luck in future events.

 HACKATHON-2022 is specifically intended for students to test their knowledge and skills by participating in various IT events which not only provide academic excellence but also helps in redefining their personality. There were 4 events   WEB-A-THON : An event where the team of two student has to develop the dynamic website. Blind Coding : Participants has to write the code by turning off the monitor and execute the code. The code with minimum number of errors and with minimum time to execute the code was the winner. This event had been passed through 2 rounds.Breach the Firewall : Participants has to showcase their skill to crack or near the task assigned to them. The Elite of IoT: Participant has to showcase their knowledge related to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Automation sensors, and Actuators, among other devices to develop the application that can be useful for the society.

 

 The trophies and certificates were announced in the Valedictory session. The winners had received the trophy, certificate and cash prizes (I prize- 3000, II Prize – 2000, III Prize  - 1000) The winners of the events were

The Elite of IOT : Ist Prize : Shivam Minz (Manav Rachna University, Faridabad)                      II Prize : Yash Tyagi & Aditya Yadav (IMS UC)  III Prize : Nikhil Maurya & Sonam Jha (IMS UC),
