Summary of the Event: The IT Club organized a 3 Days’ workshop for the second year student of BCA, (Batch 2020 - 2023) on 18th – 20th May,2022. The objective of the workshop was to provide insights about Excel. Prof. Gaurav Kaushik IMS School of Information Technology was the resource person during the workshop. He provides the practical demonstrations along with the hands on practice over several topics in the workshop. The workshop starts with the fundamental concepts of excel like cell freezing and ends on the day 3rd with the advance topic like Dashboarding. That was really a great learning experience for the students, they have enjoyed and learned a lot in the workshop. The workshop was focused over the data visualization and a bit towards the data analysis using MS Excel.
Learning Outcome:
Students learnt the concept of MS Excel from very begining. They also get to know about the various functions like text, financial, statistical etc. They understand concept of data slicing and dashboarding.
