Report on MIB Orientation Day 2

About Session:

The second day of Utkarsh- MIB Orientation of 2022-24 batch was filled with much excitement and stimulation with two powerful speakers who took their sessions to provide right direction to the new batch. After the first day of orientation, where students interacted and listened to stalwarts from the industry to know the expectations from them, the second day was more focused on their self discovery and enlightenment.

First session- Taking the Big Step

The first session in the morning was taken by Mr. Ajay Sharma, motivational speaker and author of many good books. He is also the founder and managing director of Fortitude that is a consultancy firm providing motivation and inspiration to young minds. Mr. Sharma delivered a very enlightening session through the way of stories, motivational quotes, ASK principle, interactive questions to students to help them understand their worth. He also suggested the students to build their unique self to be able to survive in the corporate life but still remain humble as usual. The students were very happy to learn new perspectives to life and connected with him for future development also.

Second Session- Power Dressing- First Impression matters

The second session of the day was taken up by Ms. Ankita Singh, model and corporate trainer. She has trained more than 200 students on dressing, corporate etiquettes, cracking interviews and group discussions. Ms. Singh provided great insight on the right way to dress for corporate journey she highlighted the importance of head to toe dressing. She gave many tips and tools for cracking the GD and making the final impact on the interviewer.
