Summary of the event
The School of Management organized a Team Building Activity “Rest the Unrest” for all faculty and staff members on 8th October, 2022 at Atrium at 10:15am. The event was organized to strengthen team spirit among the faculty and staff members- for deepening mutual understanding, coordination, and fellow-feeling. To achieve this, certain games were organized, namely- Paper tower building, Blindfold maze, Tic-Tac-Toe, Tug-of-War etc. The event was inaugurated by the Director, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, and heartily participated in by all faculty and staff members, who were divided into 8-10 teams. The results of the games played were as follows:
Runner-up- Team Beta and Team Typhoon
Runner-Up- Management Department
All the members of winning and runner-up teams were awarded with medals. Refreshments were also shared.
Learning Outcome
The purpose of engaging over these games was met as the staff and faculty members coordinated and collaborated with each other. They collectively shared moments of joy and sorrow as games were won or lost. It was especially beneficial for the new faculty members to get acquainted with their colleagues. Overall, the event was successful in fostering new friendships and deepening older ones.
