Summary of the Event:
Network Club of IMS Ghaziabad had organized a workshop on introduction to networking on 1st of October 2021 to give all the basic information to BCA 1st year students (Batch 2021-24) to know about networks and the cyber world threats and precautions.Mr. Harsh Dua (Vice-President of Network Club) and Ms.Meeta (Club Member) welcomed the participants and gave them a small introduction about the club and hand over the stage to all the program facilitators to present their topics. Mr. Harsh Dua introduced the students to the world of Cyber Security giving them an overview of the cyber world, and how to get secure by the cyber threats around us and take preventive measures.Mr. Utkarsh(Club Member)introduced the students to Network And It’s Workingwhere they were introduced to the different kinds of networks their advantages, disadvantages, security factors and different ranges at which they work.Moving on with Mr.Sumit (Club Member), where the students came across the term topology which was very well explained with it’s different types in detail.After that Ms.Rekha and Ms.Kirti (Club Members), were briefing their knowledge about all the different Types of CMD Commands And finally Mr.Harsh Kumar and Mr.Ashutosh (Club Members), gave a brief introduction about cisco packet tracer where the students came across network connections and the message passing At the end a vote of thanks by Ms.Meeta thanking all the participants to stay along in this wonderful session and Prof.Ashutosh Sharma(Club Coordinator) thanking all the club members and participants for sharing some there valuable information with the new networkers. Learning Outcome: • Students were able to understand the latest trend related to this field. • Students have a better understanding of different types of modules and its proper use inthefieldofnetworking.
