Summary of the Event:

The morning of 16^th June 2022 (Thursday) echoed with the blessings for the batch 2019-2022 as the IMS family came together to bid goodbye to the outgoing batch of Biosciences.

With intent to bid adieu for luck in students' future endeavour, School of Biosciences, IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organized “ADIOS-2K22” for B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Microbiology (2019-22) & M.Sc. Biotechnology (2020-22) batch on 16^th June 2022 (Thursday) to celebrate and relive the moment and the journey they had experience at IMS. It was a morning filled with mixed emotions for everyone present to witness the official send-off for students.

The day began with the Sarasvati Vandana. The function was inaugurated by Dr (Prof.) Ajay Kumar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus), he encouraged the students to do their best and dream high and achieve heights in their areas of interest, bringing glory to their alma-mater.

Dr.Surabhi Johari and Dr. Umesh Kumar, Head of Department, School of Biosciences, congratulated the students for successfully completing their three-year program and extended their best wishes for their future endeavours.

The event began with the captivating dance performance by the second year students dedicated especially for their seniors which put everyone into the perfect mood and filled them with positive energy for the day. Following this a wonderful drama was staged on the occasion with an incredible video dedicated to the fantastic friendships that had made the college life worth it for the students of this batch.

To make it young and vibrant, the students presented various entertaining cultural programs. The event comprised competitions for various categories; several dance performances, singing and exciting games along with the presentation of titles to the final year students.

To wrap up the program Prof.Kapil Sharma proposed the vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude towards the management, IT staff, faculty and the students in making the event a grand success.

The entire audience was mesmerized by series of colourful presentations. Passing out of an academic brings in a bit of nostalgia for every student, however, this is what brings out the real journey and name fame for both the individual and the institution. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce the joyous moments of the wonderful years on this amazing campus.
