Summary of the Event-
The School of Journalism and Mass Communication of Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) had organised a Media Visit & Participation in a Theatre Play, where students of BJMC final year of IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus visited National School of Drama,Mandi House New Delhi on 11th June 2022. The students got to explore the different side of the real world wherein only hard work and passion prevails. Students also got to know how theatre which is a traditional means of communication is still alive and how our culture is intact with the efforts of such organisations.
The students watched a very popular play “Taj Mahal Ka Tender” Directed by Mr. Chittranjan Tripathy and Playwright by Mr. Ajay Shukla students also met theatre personalities. It was great fun as well as learning for all the students.
The show was divided into two parts each show was of 1 hr 30 minutes duration. Along with the guest the audience and the students shared their opinions. Whole program was interesting and developed a curiosity amongst the audience about the cast and the Direction. It was an interactive session between the Actors and audience as students asked their question from the actors .It was overall an interactive session for the students.
Learning Outcome- Students got to know about the Theatre Acting, music composition, Production, and Direction .Students also got to know about the major differences between a live and recorded shows.
