Summary of the Event:

There are so many different ways to learn. One of the most personal and relationship-building learning experiences comes from faculty development program (FDP). A FDP is an opportunity wherein an “influential supporter” share tips, tools, knowledge and assist both personally and academically.

Faculty development program are designed to pair faculty with renowned scientists and academicians so that they can assist in faculty’s overall growth. These types of programs teach valuable academic skills, as well as lifelong and professional tools. Mentors makes peers feel confident, inspired and focused.

With an aim to build a unique guidance system, Research Cell at IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organized a faculty development program on 23^rd January 2023, where Dr. Subash C. Sonkar, Research Scientist Maulana Azad Medical College imparted their knowledge, skills, and experiences with the faculties. This FDP was designed and implemented under the guidance of honourable Director, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh. Dr. Umesh Kumar, Head, Research Cell welcomed the invited guest with sapling. Dr. Subash C. Sonkar delivered a talk entitled “Advances in Molecular Diagnosis” where he addressed about the current challenges in diagnosis of disease for effective treatment. He shared his expertise how appropriate diagnosis can be developed using molecular techniques. He also enlightened the audience with how molecular diagnosis techniques can be effectively developed in accordance with the prevailing challenges in molecular diagnosis. He focused on affordable, sensitive, specific, user friendly, rapid, equipment-free and delivered diagnostics. Further he emphasized on blueprint for molecular assays development for the diagnosis of novel diseases arising globally

Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, felicitated Dr. Subash C. Sonkar with a memento as token of gratitude.  Dr. Umesh Kumar, Head, Research Cell congratulated all faculty members for their outstanding participation and acknowledged Dr. Swati Tyagi & Dr. Sanghdeep Gautam for their contribution in successful organization of the faculty development program. The program was moderated by Dr. Priyanka Srivastava.
