Summary of the event-
Under the aegis of IIC and IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus), E Cell at the institute organized a workshop on “Design Thinking, Critical Thinking Skills and Innovation Design” in the Auditorium on 22nd February, 2023 for all the students of various courses. The session was delivered by Prof. Komal Kapoor, faculty of marketing and entrepreneurship at the institute. The session provided lot of new insights to the students about the concept of design thinking, its meaning, objective, significance and application in various sectors. The session also helped students to understand why critical thinking skills are important for their professional journey and tools to develop them.
The session also discussed many examples of innovative design products and their success stories leading to better understanding of the concept and its application. The session also undertook a simulation based activity where the students worked on a problem area while suggesting innovative solutions for the same. Students from various courses joined the workshop and benefitted by the input provided by the resource person.
