IMS, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized Alumni meet SMRITI-2017 on 26th March, 2017. It was a time for all alumni to refresh their golden memories with friends, seniors, juniors and faculty and staff members. Inauguration started with heart touching message to Alumni from Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director IMS, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus). Speaking on the occasion, director underlined and praised the achievements of Alumni in various corporate sectors & all walks of life. It is a matter of pride that its alumni are holding good positions not only in Government organization but also in MNCs like Godrej, Infoedge Pvt. Ltd., HDFC, Big Bazaar, HCL, ITC, Google, Microsoft and many more. Many of them are successful entrepreneur providing jobs to others as well. The occasion was graced by more than 500 Alumni of various programs viz BBA, BCA, BJMC, B.Sc., M.Sc. and MIB. Cultural programs adorned the inaugural ceremony in which existing students Mukesh and Vaishnavi performed Shiva Tandav Cultural dance was followed by singing performances by Prakhar and Shubham who spellbound the guests with their melodious songs. Further there were various games which were organized for alumni. Alumni showed their eagerness to participate in each and every game wholeheartedly. Further Alumni moved on the tune of salsa and western dance performed by the current students. Many of the current students were also seen interacting with alumni and learning from their experiences. Finally vote of thanks was given by Prof. Kumar Saurav, Chairperson, Alumni Relations. Mr. Saurav expressed his gratitude to alumni and focused on maintaining relation with alma mater on regular basis by involving them in Alumni talk series summer training projects, placement, donation or any other ways through which they can support their alma mater. Alumni were eagerly waiting for the DJ. The meet ended with promise to meet again and everyone bid emotional farewell to each other on a note they are always connected to their alma mater IMS, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus).
Dance was on upbeat numbers coupled with tasty platter on the menu.
