Institute of Management Studies , Ghaziabad , has organised a workshop ?Introduction to Research methods? on 7-09-2017. This workshop has been organized for the students of BBA Second year. The objective of this workshop was to enlightened the students with basic concepts of Research Methods. 63 students across all the specializations attended the workshop Topic covered 1. Conceptual Background of Research 2. Review of Literature, Referencing in Writing using software 3. Conceptualization of Variables and Measurement 4. Research Problem: Qualitative and Quantitative Research 5. Research Design, Identification of Research Topics, Hypothesis Formulation 6. Tools & Techniques of Data Collection: Primary & Secondary, Data Collection Questionnaire Design & Testing School of Management extended a note of gratitude to Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director, IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus, for her wonderful initiatives. Dr. Geeti Sharma, HOD-BBA, Kapil Mohan and many faculty members also spared their valuable time for the workshop. Prof. Shenki Tyagi, Assistant Professor, the resource person for the workshop encouraged the students for reading seminal articles to understand use of various tools.
