IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organized Genesis- 2017, An Inter- Institutional Science Fest on 2nd November 2017 to provide opportunities to all the students and showcase their talents.
Dr.Himani Pandey, Research Scientist, DGGR Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan and Dr. MadhuYashpal, Assistant Professor, Gargi College, New Delhi were the guests of the event, they shared their insight and knowledge on science and its importance with the delegates. Dr.Himani Pandey shared her research experience on Drosophila genes which she gained during her research in Japan while Dr. MadhuYashpal has given insight of nanoparticles and electron microscopy to the students.
Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director, IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus, formally inaugurated the event and motivated students to take on emerging roles in the growing scientific enterprise and raised awareness about alternative career options.
Living its vision of being a unified platform for students Genesis- 2017 has hosted the five competitive events like Oral presentation, Poster Presentation, Model Making, Quiz, and Extempore. Students from different Schools and Colleges have actively participated and won various prizes in different categories.
Among different Schools, Kothari International has won Best School Participation Award.
