'Presentation on Articles based on Harvard Business Review'

Session -1

In pursuit of identification of existing skill set of MIB students, CDC at IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus organized 'Presentation on Articles based on Harvard Business Review' on 20th July 2018. The session was organized with an objective to sensitize the students about management topics in all genres of specializations such as sales & marketing, finance, human resource and information technology. Students presented their articles and tried to reflect the opinion of the author. Their PPT reflected the crux of the article while emphasizing their perception and need of the study. Some of the articles discussed were- Creating a purpose driven organization, Deciding how to decide, Collaborate intelligence: Human and AI are joining force, A global manager, Lead from the heart etc. Ms. Priyanka Sadhna, Chairperson CDC along with team members Dr. Deepa Goel and Ms. Raunak Bhardwaj coordinated the entire session and also motivated students to regularly engage themselves in these platforms for enhancement of knowledge and confidence.

Session- 2
Case based pedagogy session for M.I.B students was conducted by Dr. Sapna Rakesh Ma'am on 20th July 2018 in the MIB orientation week. The session was based on "Case Study: From Niche to Mainstream". All the participants developed a great deal of interest in solving particular case study on the basis of three parameters i.e., Issues, Environment and the Decisions.
The session further covered a case study about leading Japanese Company (Kenko Rice Crackers) who is trying to establish their position into American market but facing a lot of problems. Session helped the students in understanding and analyzing case study. As per students response session was very interesting and gainful.
