Orientation Program of BJMC Batch 2018-21 Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organized a splendid Orientation Program of BJMC Batch 2018-21 on 23rd August 2018.The Orientation Program was designed to acknowledge the new students about the background, vision, growth, culture, and philosophy of IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus). Dr. Sapna Rakesh (Director IMS University Courses Campus) welcomed the Chief Guest Mr. Anshuman Tiwari (Editor, India Today- Hindi) and Guest of Honor, Mr. Anurag Punetha ( Senior News Anchor, Lok Sabha TV), Mr. Ravindra Singh( RJ in FM Rainbow and TV Anchor) and Mr. Sanoj Gautam( Alumni IMS). The speakers interacted with the students and gave them the insights about the latest trend of Digitalization and importance of media. They shared their experience and told many important aspects of being a journalist. They motivated the students to choose the field of their choice and they also advised them to earn good values. They told the students many stories with morals which will help them to be a better person and a great journalist. The students asked many questions and the guests gave them many tips. The interactive round was very lively and the students truly enjoyed and learnt many things from such renowned media personalities. The session extended with the brief introduction of dedicated faculty of BJMC department. The faculties shared some words of wisdom to motivate and inspire the students. The session came to an end with full of enthusiasm and zeal in students and a Vote of Thanks given by Mr. Shrikant Asthana (Chairperson BJMC).
